Like new xxxx Cannondale SuperSix Hi-Mod, SRAM Red groupset with upgrades. Crazy travel over the last two years means this bike hasn't gotten the time it deserves. This bike was never raced, never crashed and was very well cared for. I'm going to start doing triathlons, so this needs to go to make room for a tri bike.
SRAM Red shifters, brakes, and rear derailleur. Front derailleur is Force because it just shifts better for only the smallest of weight penalties.
Wheels are either 09 Easton EA90 Aeros--similar weight to Ksyriums and every bit as efficient, but smoother riding and way more aero--or xxxx Easton EA70x tubulars--probably some of the best crit or cross aluminum wheels you'll find. Smooth, light, and stiff--they remind me of Ksyriums but ride smoother and retail for hundreds less. If you choose the EA70x set, you can take $100 off the price of the bike.
EA90s will come with brand new Vittoria Rubino Pros. EA70x will come with low-mileage Vittoria Corsas glued on with Tufo Extreme tape and an extra (brand new) Corsa and box (single application) of the Tufo tape.Unlike the Red-equipped SuperSix from xxxx, this bike comes with the amazing Hollowgram SL crank w/ standard 53/39 chainrings--a big upgrade! I'll also include a brand new 110 spider so that you'll have the option to change this bike over to a compact setup if you choose.
Stock stem and bars were upgraded to the Shimano PRO Vibe 7s aluminum stem (130mm) and carbon bar (44 cm, c-t-c). This is a $350 bar and frankly the best I've ever used--oversized for the full top section of the bar and then the best "update" to the traditional round bend I've seen. Interface with the brake hoods is totally natural, too--you'll never want to use another bar!
