Sanitation Associate Location: Allentown, PA Job Id: xxxx # of Openings: 2 Primary Responsibility: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, contributing to a clean, safe working environment. *1st Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM *2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 12:00PM - 8:30PM Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, floor scrubber, etc.) required. Essential Functions: ** General maintenance, cleaning and preventative maintenance to include, but not limited to; sweeping and cleaning floors, collection and removal of trash, and dusting. ** Clean product spills in warehouse isles as needed. Â* Remove product from floor level slots and double deep slots to ensure slot floor is clean of debris. ** Operate trash compactor, empty trash containers. ** Restock restroom supplies / toiletries as needed. ** While following safety procedures, ensure all cleaning materials are kept in well-marked, ventilated area. ** Operate powered equipment such as; a forklift and scrubber. ** Pull out pallets in bottom pick slots and clean/mop out slots ** Keep trash compactor area clean and free of excess debris. ** Ensure any/all cleaning materials are kept in a well marked ventilated area. ** Other duties and special projects as requested. ** Must maintain good attendance. ** Maintain safe work practices. ** Maintain safeguards of confidential company information. Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude: Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management. Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed. Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
