Garmin Nuvi xxxxT - The Garmin Nuvi xxxxT is packed with features. What I really like about it is the intuitive interface that is easy to use. With just a few touch gestures on the screen, I am good to go. The main menu is uncluttered and simple. It gives you two main options: “Where to?” and “View Map”. Seen also on the main menu are the GPS Satellite strength, current time, battery status, stop which cancels the current route, detour option which finds an alternate route, volume and tools.
You can input the address of your destination under the Where to? option in the main menu. Inputting the address is done using the on-screen QWERTY keyboard. With a few presses on the screen, you are now ready to go to your destination. Also under this option is the Points of Interest (POI). This is where addresses of establishments are stored. This device comes pre- loaded with around 6 million POIs. I like that the Garmin Nuvi xxxxT can search for POIs near my current or favorite locations.
